I am Toronto / Beijing base artist. In the form of multimedia, my works take Chinese traditional love poems, secular novels, myths and legends as carriers. Originated from the traditional Chinese ink painting techniques, combining the Oriental Buddhist culture with the contemporary abstract western art language, integrating different forms such as video, installation, sculpture, painting, etc., to explore the theme of intimacy and female consciousness. On the basis of these two themes, it discusses the ideal and reality, time and desire, mainstream and edge, temptation and search. I hope that through different forms of works, I can truly express my love and find the resolution of human contradiction in the changeable world.
